COURSE OVERVIEW:
This course provides participants with a foundational understanding of the roles, responsibilities, and operational guidelines of a Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA). It highlights the critical role of the MLA within the clinical setting, emphasizing proper collection, handling, transportation, and pre-processing of various laboratory specimens. Participants will gain insights into different departments within the medical laboratory, along with guidance on safety codes and practices, ethical standards, and professional conduct. The course includes hands-on lab exercises and practical sessions to strengthen participants’ competencies, blending theoretical knowledge with practical experience
