COURSE OVERVIEW 

This is an introductory Mobile App Development course. The course will introduce students to the world of mobile  Application, the importance of mobile apps, the composition of these apps and becoming a developer for both Android and Apple.

• How to become an independent app vendor for Android and Apple 
• Publishing apps for Both Google Play and Apple store

• To introduce the learners to mobile application development.
• To provide learners with the skills and knowledge needed to build a simple mobile app.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the course, participants should be able to:

• Understand the difference between traditional (desktop) applications and mobile apps
• Be familiar enough with Android Studio to create a basic app
• Understand the how to use a real Android device with Android Studio for app development
• Understand the Android platform with respect to developing simple apps.
• Understand the core building blocks of Android apps.
• Create a basic android app
• Create a basic app using a cloud-based environment.
• Understand how to use the Apple and Google systems to publish apps.
